Garbage pick-up is available daily between 8 and 10 am. The area surrounding the resort is picturesque, with rolling hills and cattle ranches. The resort is in need of some improvements, but the laundry facilities were well-kept. When you arrive, you will be driven around in a cart to select your site.

Styx River RV Resort is a prime destination for year-round camping, located just 40 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico. The resort offers full RV connections, private fishing pond, private beach area, walking trails, outdoor swimming pool, heated indoor pool, large clubhouse, snack bar, playground, miniature golf, basketball court, volleyball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, picnic tables, RV storage, and cabins. The clean laundry facilities are also available for guests. The resort is surrounded by the always-fun Styx River, where guests can dip their feet or tube down the river with friends.
