Wilderness RV Park is a convenient and affordable camping destination with pull-thru sites available. The park is heavily wooded which provides for a peaceful and tranquil setting. While there are some debris present around the dumpster, the roads in and around the park are well-maintained. However, there are a few long-time residents who have accumulated some clutter around their spots. Despite this, the park is quiet and has no problem enforcing its noise rules. The small, but clean laundry room is present, but the park is pretty far out, so we decided to do our laundry in town. Although the park is not advertised as being for those over 55, we never saw a child on the property while we were there. Pets are welcome and there are safe roads for walking them. While there is no dedicated dog park on-site, there is a pool that is very inviting during the hotter months. The park is in proximity to many popular tourist locations, such as Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Overall, we would recommend Wilderness RV Park as a decent and affordable option for anyone looking for a peaceful setting.

Wilderness RV Park has been providing camping accommodations to snowbirds, travelers and year round residents since 1990. Here you will enjoy a quiet and peaceful “Down South” atmosphere. Our campground is just 30 minutes East of Mobile, Alabama and 35 minutes West of Pensacola, Florida.
