Finland Campground and day use area is currently closed for all use, due to extreme winter storm damage and a spruce budworm infestation. We need to assess and remove a great number of hazard trees before the area is safe for visitors. We will reopen the campground as soon as it is safe, but with this degree of damage, we expect it will be closed for two to four months.

Williams Narrows Campground is located on Cut Foot Sioux Lake and has 17 campsites, a boat landing, and a swimming beach. Hikers can access the Simpson Creek trailhead by boating across the narrows, while bird watchers have an excellent chance of seeing bald eagles soaring overhead. The campground offers drinking water and vault restrooms. Reservations can be made through recreation.gov.
